MC9090 screen calibration
Using the Motorola MC9090 collector, it happens that the device clicks next to the spot we touched with the stylus. Such a situation usually occurs when we have not performed the screen calibration accurately. By default, the touch screen calibration starts with the device startup. However, we can call it manually by pressing "FUNC" + "ESC".
The "ESC" key is located in the upper left corner of the keyboard under the screen, and the blue "FUNC" function button is on the right side.
When the white calibration screen appears, carefully press and hold the tip of the stylus in the center of each cross that appears on the screen.
The target will then move to another part of the screen.
Again, press and hold the tip of the stylus in the center of each target. During calibration, the cross will move 5 times. If you want to exit and not save any changes, press the ESC key to cancel.
Remember to perform the calibration with a plastic stylus.
If the calibration repeats despite correctly clicking all crosses, the device probably requires a touch screen replacement.
